Nowadays blogging platforms are a dime a dozen. You’ve got WordPress that is still king, but it’s kind of bloated and has plenty of weird gotchas that can lead you down into rabbit holes that lead you to realize there are more than 10 levels of abstraction until you get down to calls to cURL from initiating an HTTP GET request with their API (this is a horrific story, I don’t know if I want to think about it any further than that).

Hi, I’m Cameron. I’m a software developer from Memphis, TN. I’m a generalist with experience in many different fields of software engineering including full-stack web development, audio plugin development, remote control services for mobile devices, and DevOps. I have experience in many programming languages including C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, Ruby, Python, and Java. I’m a tinkerer at heart and love to learn and experiment with new technologies. As a hobbyist, I enjoy learning about compiler design and how programming languages work.
